Terms of Stay & House Rules – Hillside Oasis

By booking and staying at Hillside Oasis, you agree to the following terms and house rules. These are in place to ensure safety, comfort, and the protection of the property.

Your check-in details will be included in the full house guide, which will be sent to you by email prior to your stay.

The key safe code will be sent to you separately by text message and email on the morning of your arrival.

Occupancy and use

  • Hillside Oasis is a couples-only retreat.

  • No children or infants are permitted.

  • Maximum occupancy: 2 guests.

  • No visitors are permitted on site at any time without prior agreement.

Safety – pool and outdoor areas (non-negotiable)

  • ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS (including glass bottles) is permitted anywhere outside the Hillside Oasis cabin.
    This is non-negotiable. Any evidence of glass in external areas will be treated as a serious breach of house rules due to the swimming pool and hot tub environment.
    High-quality plastic tumblers, wine glasses, champagne flutes and hi-ball vessels are provided.

  • Pool rules:
    No diving, no running, no bombing, no rough play and no urinating. Please shower before entering the pool.

  • Please replace the covers on the pool and hot tub after every use.

  • Pool availability: 1 April – 30 September

  • Hot tub availability: Year-round

Quiet enjoyment and conduct

  • Quiet hours: 10:00pm – 7:00am.

  • No pets.

  • No smoking anywhere on the property grounds, including from the point of entry to the main house driveway.
    This includes smoking on the pavement outside the main house.

  • Remote working is welcome. However, no commercial activities are permitted, including receiving clients at the property.

Outdoor facilities

  • BBQ: Please ensure the gas is turned off after use and the grates are wiped down.
    BBQ available 1 April – 30 September.

  • Fire pit table: Must be turned off after every use.
    Fire pit table available 1 April – 30 September.

Property care

  • Please follow the rubbish and recycling guidelines provided.

  • If anything is damaged during your stay, please inform us as soon as possible so repair or replacement can be arranged.

Electric vehicle charging

  • Our insurance does not cover the charging of electric vehicles using the outside plug sockets.
    Please do not charge electric vehicles at the property.
